Student Academy
Student privacy & saving
No student account required
The Unit 2 game does not ask for names, email addresses, or school accounts. It does not send answers or scores to a teacher dashboard or a database.
Progress stays in this browser
When browser storage is available, the game automatically saves required review, hints used, question position, readiness check results, and optional game progress on this device and browser profile. Return using the same website address. Closing Chrome or restarting the computer normally keeps that save.
Private browsing, clearing site data, school device policies, or changing devices or profiles can remove or separate saved progress. Check the saving message before leaving. Anyone using the same browser profile can see its progress; shared computers do not provide separate student saves.
Keep a backup
Use Save backup to download a small progress file. Use Load backup on another visit or device to continue. Loading a backup replaces the open progress after confirmation. The file is read on your device; the game does not upload it. Use Start over to clear the game’s saved progress in this browser. Downloaded backup files must be deleted separately.
Website visits and outside links
This site contains no advertising scripts or visitor analytics added by Texas History Academy. Like other website hosts, the hosting provider may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Links to Teachers Pay Teachers and historical sources open services with their own privacy practices.
Read aloud
When available, the game uses an installed English voice marked as on-device by your browser. It does not send question text to an outside speech service.
